We're dog friendly!
As dog lovers ourselves, we know that it is hard to leave your canine family members at home. So why not bring them with you?
No need to ask in advance.
Just make a notation on the booking form.
Be sure to bring your dog's passport with current vaccination records.
Robby & Loki welcome your dog friends.
Robby and Loki are the keepers of the grounds at Villa Lobos. They always welcome new playmates.
They are fun-loving and friendly, and yes, they are current with their vaccinations.
(your dogs need to be too).
Your dogs are welcome to stay in your room with you, and to go most places around our grounds.
We're sorry but dogs are the only pets that we can accommodate at Villa Lobos.
Don't like dogs or is your dog skittish? We can keep our dogs inside (or on a leash (lead) outside) for short stays,
but for longer stays you cannot help but meet our dynamic duo Robby and Loki. If you are allergic to dogs, or you just don't like dogs,
then we're sorry but Villa Lobos probably is not the right choice for you.
Please note that as of June 2025, dogs are no longer allowed to swim in the pool (as seen below). Dogs CAN wet their feet on the top steps of the pool, in order to stay cool. However, due to issues with dog hair clogging the filter and pump (and quite a costly replacement of both), we are sorry but dogs playing, swimming and bathing in the pool is no longer permitted. That said, we have a wonderful dog watear park only 15 minutes away by car.. There are brochures in the rooms, and we are happy to provide driving directions. The dogs love it!
